Learn French
To learn French, you not only need to learn its grammar, you also need to have a good grasp of the vocabulary. To hold a decent conversation with a French person, you need to have a vocabulary of at least 10,000 words. The difficult part in learning French lies in the pronunciation, and it is common that non-native speakers make mistakes when they start learning the language. Basically, the pronunciation of French uses different phonemes, making it more difficult for beginners to get used to the language. Another thing you need to learn to speak French properly is the accent. The French accent is not easy to pick up because the tones of expression are very varied. The best way to train your accent is by immersing yourself in the language, practicing the language and listening to French speakers as much as you can. Once you have the right pronunciation and accent, you can start mastering grammar and vocabulary. You can learn these things through books and websites that offer French lessons. As you improve your grammar and vocabulary, you can express yourself more effectively and become more fluent in writing as well as speaking. With the proper resources and discipline, you can even learn French on your own. However, if you have the time, it is best that you try to join a French class in a local language center or institution. There, you can learn French from a qualified instructor and practice the language with your fellow students. By constantly interacting with French-speaking people, you will find it easier to learn French. |
