Abstract: Suggests strategies for being successful in publishing research results such as selecting target journals before writing, attending to details, accepting the editor's instructions at face value, delaying inquires concerning lag time for manuscript reviews, and focusing on the revision requests of the editor. The author also discusses some of the ethical issues involved. (JPS)
